Mice

Mice Control

House mice are not only nuisances but they are also human health hazards. They damage and destroy properties by gnawing and chewing, inadvertently causing accidents and contamination. They are disease carriers that carry disease through their urine, droppings, saliva, and nesting materials.

What Do Mice Look Like?

Size: House mouse: 5 1/2 to 7 inches (including tail). Adults have rather large ears
Color: Dusky Gray to Light Brown

Food For Mice

Mice are well adapted to life with humans and will eat many of the items that we consume. In general, they prefer cereals, grains, seeds, fruits and vegetables. Because of their habit of nibbling, they can eat 15-20 times each day

Where Mice They Hide?

Mice are typically nocturnal and may hide inside wall voids, under furniture or appliances. They also investigate new objects in their territory with a range of 10-20 feet from their nesting site.

Hazards To Humans

House mice are a primary contributor to allergies and can trigger asthma in susceptible individuals. They are also carriers of salmonella and campylobacter bacteria. The constant gnawing of these pests can cause damage to structures and property and may even cause fires if electrical wires are damaged.
