CRICKETS REMOVAL

Crickets Can Invade Your Home!

As a common pest, crickets can cause considerable damage when they invade a home. They can cause damage to wood, paper, fabrics and other household items. Hiding in carpets, old clothes, rags etc. is something common to crickets. The most common species of these home-invading pests are the house cricket, the field cricket, Acheta domesticus, Gryllus spp., and the camel cricket. Their chirping can be a nuisance, and some of these species feed on fabric and houseplants.

Many homeowners discover they have a cricket infestation by hearing them chirp at night. The chirping that usually is heard outside seems very close while indoors. Turning a light on in a dark room usually makes the cricket quiet down momentarily. But eventually they start up again. This may mean your infestation has already happened and NOT a stray getting in your home.

What Can They Do To Me?

Cricket infestations can have a variety of negative effects on your home or office space. One such issue is the presence of unsightly and unpleasant fecal stains on surfaces throughout the affected area. These stains can be difficult and frustrating to clean up, and may require additional effort and cleaning supplies to fully remove. Whether you are dealing with a minor cricket infestation or a more significant problem, it is important to address the issue promptly in order to minimize the damage and disruption caused by these pests. In addition to potentially unsanitary conditions, cricket infestations can also lead to damage to fabrics, furniture and other household surfaces, making it particularly important to take action to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
